Where to meet your driver at Sea-Tac

Sea-Tac has one main terminal and one big parking garage. Knowing how the two connect is most of what you need to find your car.
Seattle-Tacoma International keeps things relatively simple: a single main terminal, departures on the upper drive, baggage claim on the lower level, and a large parking garage directly across the drives, connected by skybridges. Almost every pickup — private cars, app-based rides, shuttles — happens somewhere along that short walk.
Option 1: meet & greet inside the terminal
The easiest handoff. Your driver waits in the baggage claim area with a sign showing your name. You collect your bags, find the sign, and walk out together to the car. Nothing to navigate, nothing to search for on your phone. It is the pickup we recommend for first visits, families and late arrivals — see how meet & greet works.
Option 2: curbside or garage pickup
Pre-arranged cars at SEA commonly meet guests in the ground-transportation areas of the parking garage, reached from the terminal by the skybridges; app-based rides use a separate, signposted zone. With a Flying Limousine curbside pickup you do not need to memorise any of this: once you have your bags, you receive the exact meeting point and your driver’s details, and you walk straight to the car.
How long from gate to car?
- Carry-on only: often 10–20 minutes from the gate.
- Checked bags: usually 20–40 minutes, depending on the carousel.
- International arrivals: allow extra time for passport control and customs.
Because your driver follows the flight and knows these timings, you do not need to rush — or message anyone from the jet bridge.
If you cannot find your driver
Your booking confirmation includes your driver’s contact details. Call or text; they will guide you in a minute or two. For meet & greet, stay near your baggage carousel — that is where your driver will be looking.
The best pickup is the one you never have to think about after landing.
Domestic vs international arrivals
Domestic passengers walk from the gate straight down to the baggage claim level. International passengers first clear U.S. Customs and Border Protection in the international arrivals facility, collect their bags there and are then routed into the public arrivals area. If you are arriving from abroad, tell us — your driver plans for the extra time and waits in the right place. Read international arrivals at Sea-Tac for the full picture.
What to send your driver
- Flight number — the one thing that lets us follow the landing time.
- Number of bags — so the right car is sent and the trunk is empty.
- A mobile number that works in the U.S. — for a quick text once you have your bags.
- Anything unusual — a wheelchair request, oversized luggage, a pet carrier.
A note on the pickup zones
Private cars cannot wait at the terminal curb for long, and the rules for which vehicles may stop where are set by the airport and change from time to time. That is exactly why we send the meeting point with your booking details instead of asking you to learn the layout: your driver knows the current arrangement and meets you where it is quickest to leave.
