The route

The most-travelled ride from SEA.

Downtown Seattle is the natural first stop for most visitors: the hotels around Union Square and the convention center, the offices of the financial district and South Lake Union, Pike Place Market and the waterfront, and the cruise terminal at Pier 66.

From Sea-Tac the drive runs north on I-5 or SR 99 — about 14 miles. Outside rush hour it takes 25–35 minutes; on weekday afternoons, the northbound approach to downtown is the slow part, and your driver picks the better of the two roads on the day. Game days at the SoDo stadiums add their own traffic, which we plan around when we see them on the calendar.

Expect roughly $75–95 in a sedan, or $93–120 with meet & greet — the exact price is confirmed on request. The estimate covers the whole downtown core, including Belltown and South Lake Union. Going on to Capitol Hill or Queen Anne? Those have their own estimates.

Local notes

Arriving downtown.

01

Hotel lobbies. Most downtown hotels have a short drop-off lane; your driver brings the bags to the door.

02

Offices. Send the building and entrance — many towers have a separate loading or pickup side.

03

Pike Place & the waterfront. Streets around the market are narrow and busy; we agree the drop-off point in advance.
